About Us.

At any given time, more than 8,000 children are in Tennessee's foster care system. Among them, approximately 2% require higher levels of care due to intellectual and developmental disabilities. These vulnerable children often face delays in receiving the specialized support they need while waiting for placement in suitable foster homes.

In addition, over 7,000 adults with disabilities are in need of long-term care and a supportive place to call home. Knoxville Foster Care offers specialized foster services, along with supportive technology designed to assist in independent living. We are dedicated to providing the care, resources, and stability these individuals need to thrive.
